Organic chemistry is challenging. Ask any first year grad student and they’ll tell you so. The literature is daunting, the chemicals explode, cause cancer or smell like armpits, and the techniques are as much art as science.
I love it.
But it’s an ongoing struggle. With the help of professors, archaic literature, and my colleagues, over the years I’ve found a lot of little tricks that make everything run smoother. This blog is for sharing those tricks, because I’m sure I’ve a lot more to learn, and I want to make things that much easier for us all.
